That thing called Hope!

I recently went to Angola to embark on the most memorable experience in my life.  I was able to see so many aspects of the country, from remote villages to the populated capital.  I will never forget the beautiful people I've seen, especially the children.  There is something about the children in countries like Angola that makes you realize how pure, innocent, and highly influenced they are.  No matter what house I visited, how much they did or did not have, the children always had a sparkling glimmer in their eyes. That sparkle was a large glimmer of hope and happiness.
I talked to many community officials and locals and the one theme that was recurrent was that Angola is moving forward and that they faith.  Through these discussions I was able to share in that faith and until this day I have not lost it.
I attended a workshop at New York University and this amazing lecturer, Jimmie Briggs stated, "hope is something you do."  This really stuck with me, hope is not just an inspirational word, or something you have.  We instill hope, provide it, and without hard work on our parts there is no hope.  So, what have you done lately to instill hope in some one's life?
